On the 8th of February our pupils of the 2nd, the 3rd, the 4th and the 5th forms participated in the school concert “Tales and legends of the United Kingdom”. It was an interesting fairy journey and everybody enjoyed it.
The concert’s hosts were the pupils of the 5th form. They introduced British legends and tales, recited a poem of the famous Scottish poet, Robert Burns, showed a fairy tale “The field of daisies” and Oleg Samsonov performed a traditional Irish dance.
The children of the 2nd form performed in English for the first time, as they are beginning English language learners. They danced and sang songs “The Wheels on the Bus” and “Old MacDonald had a Farm”, they showed us a fairy tale “The Red Hen”. The young actors were greeted with cheers. They were happy and excited.
The pupils of the 3rd form arrived at the stage by “ A Choo-choo Train” and pleased the guests with Mother Goose’s Rhymes.
The 4th form invited us on a voyage, they sang a song “My bonnie lies over the ocean” and then they recited a poem “This is the house that Jack built”.
